What can you do to take your game to the next level? Get strong, increase your speed, improve coordination and conditioning, and become a student of the game. Why are these things important? Because by developing these skills and then applying this fastpitch softball training, you are a better hitter, thrower, base-runner, defensive player, and overall much better better player. I know the same old fastpitch softball drill can get very boring, very fast. There are some drills that will help you improve greatly, while others only moderately. We have tried to pick the fast pitch softball drills that will help you make the most dramatic improvements in your game.
Strength
Let's get busy, the first fastpitch softball drill you can work on is increasing your upper body strength. Before every meal and before you go to bed do 15 push-ups (palms touching the floor). Do this for 30 days, then do the same amount, but do them with your finger-tips. Do this for 30 days, then increase your reps to 20, 25, ect..
